Det började med skaparverkstaden.

It started with the creative workshop.

We were offering an open space with spacious windowscreens in a gallery with shops , library, and seats of authorities in a Swedish industrial city .

to come in was for free and people could paint, draw, clip, glue;

mould with clay, fold paperboxes, sew handkerchiefs , knit a shawl .

The visitors mostly did not speak so much Swedisch and our intent was to improve on their foreign language capability and get to know other people from Sweden and other countries .

Language was a byproduct of practical doing

practical doing was a byproduct of language.

Me myself was most interested in creating something that could be taken home on the body , something to create one´s own style .

So we experimented with printing and painting on t-shirts .

on second-hand or new ones

every shirt is unique

we use acrylic colours or fotoprint with grafitti-motives

so you also can choose if you´d like to transfer a painted picture via photo and transfer-paper or via the paintbrush ; using paintbrush it then becomes a quite different copy onto the shirt because the fabrique reacts different then the paper and the colours you have at hand might be different too .
